Please note before jump starting from the battery box:

Jump starting directly from the battery box should only be used as a last resort in the most urgent situations. To prevent permanent damage to your battery, connect the alligator clips directly to the flat battery and allow the voltage to equalise for 5 minutes. Then disconnect and attempt to start the vehicle. Jump starting while connected to an AGM battery may cause irreversible damage.
