KickAss Digital DC Watt Meter for Portable 12V Solar Panels with Anderson Connection

KickAss Digital DC Watt Meter

This simple yet extremely handy device gives a digital display of exactly how much charge your panels are producing in real time. Previously, this required special equipment or technical knowledge—until now!

Easily installed, it provides all the key metrics from your solar panels. It's the perfect companion to our range of KICKASS® Portable Solar Panels but is also compatible with most other solar panels.

Installation is straightforward—featuring two Anderson plugs, the watt meter fits in-line between your solar regulator and battery/load.

To install: connect the solar panel regulator's output to the "source" side of the watt meter, and the battery/load cabling to the "load" side. Once powered, the display shows the following metrics:

  • Current (Amps/A)
  • Voltage (Volts/V)
  • Power (Watts/W)
  • Total Amp Hours (Ah) since startup
  • Total Energy (kWh) since startup
  • Maximum Voltage (Vm) recorded
  • Peak Power (Wp) recorded
  • Peak Current (Ap) recorded

The watt meter draws only 7mA to operate, so it won’t significantly impact your system’s output.

Note: This product is not intended for permanent inline installation and does not have long-term memory like a full battery management system.
